Clean carpeting not only looks
better, it lasts longer. Protect your investment with regular vacuuming
and having your carpets professionally cleaned. Most companies will tell
you that their method is the best. We want you to decide:
The Club Carpet Care
Offers Two Types of Carpet Cleaning
|
Steam cleaning system.
Shaw Industries, which
is one of the worlds largest carpet manufacturer, recommends hot
water extraction.
Extraction cleans much better because it
heats the water to a high temperature -- and shoots the cleaning solution
into the carpet at high pressure -- which breaks up the dirt, bacteria,
and pollens. It's the most powerful cleaning machine on the market and
the only machine that thoroughly cleans your carpet of dirt, harmful bacteria,
fungus, chemicals, pollens, pet dander mold, dust mites, and tobacco
residue. Then the machine uses high suction to draw the dirt out of the
carpet. This is the correct system for most homes and some
commercial applications. For these situations The Club Carpet Care
uses powerful steam cleaning equipment that can deliver a good job
when coupled with a skilled operator. |
REMEMBER: The Environmental
Protection Agency recommends cleaning your carpets
every six months to
help eliminate mold, dust mites, pet dander and bacteria.
"Bonnet" Low moisture (Dry)
method.
Thousands
of tiny brushes are gently brushed through all your carpet fibers cleaning
millions of vertical surfaces. Brushes move vertically through your
carpet with the pile, not against it. The bonnet absorbs the soil
in your carpet; leaving your carpet dry, clean and with no soil attracting
residue.
Besides the pleasure
of not having wet carpets, a number of reasons for minimizing carpet moisture
exist. Perhaps the most important one is the avoidance of "wicking". As
moisture evaporates from carpet, impurities in the moisture wick back [like
an oil lamp wick] in the carpet fibers and spots reappear. THE CLUB
system uses extractor bonnets. Just as you use a sponge to
soften, absorb and trap soil in your kitchen, bathroom and on your car,
carpet bonnets do the same with each carpet fiber. Another reason
critical to the life and performance of your carpet is the avoidance of
over wetting. Over wetting your carpet can lead to mildew growth,
deterioration of its latex backing and sub floor damage. If
impurities are present in the carpet matting (residual pet urine,
for instance) over wetting can activate odors long since dormant.
Moisture is highly controlled and over wetting is impossible. In
fact, bonnets absorb moisture and impurities and therefore serve as an
excellent spill control product.
Dry cleaning results
from complete control of moisture. All carpet cleaning systems require
some amount of moisture. How that moisture is controlled determines
whether the system is "wet extraction" or "dry extraction". On average,
about 10 ounces of moisture per 50 square feet of carpet constitutes a
"low moisture" or "Dry cleaning".
It is the correct system for a number of
locations. It is available as part of a complete carpet maintenance
program that includes frequent spot cleaning and the eventual use of (steam)
hot water treatment. This is a scheduled carpet appearance program and
is available for commercial applications. It is described in depth, see
"Commercial Carpet Maintenance Program." |

Indoor Air Quality (ask about our Air-Duct
Cleaning)
Cleaning carpets regularly can improve the indoor
air quality in homes and businesses. Several years of ongoing research
show that just one cleaning reduces:
-
Dust mites by 78%
-
Dust mite allergen by 75%
-
Cat allergen by 85%
-
Mold spores by 85%
Bacteria and mold are also dramatically reduced.
A low moisture system is environmentally friendly, soft, natural
and biodegradable, and has been tested and proven to be safe for people
and pets.
